$10 000 HOLE-IN-ONE AMBROSE
held on Sunday 16th July
was an outstanding success.
Everybody went home with a smile on their face and feeling great and a prize, of course. The prizes were amazing, unfortunately no one managed to get a hole-in-one!
First place went to team Adam's Family, Mick, Ros and Brian Adams joined by Tony Furhmann in a count-back from Beachcomber Bums comprising Denise Walton, Scott, John and Heath.
The cellar dwellers, who by the laughter on the course had a great time, were OSS, Jack, Matthew, Nick and Brendan. As you can see from the photo Matthew McCullagh (MJM Constructions) our sponsor ensured the prize was fitting!
The Ladies' Longest Drives (H/C less than 36) was Denise Walton, (H/C 36+) Christine Taylor.
Men's Longest Drives (H/C less than 30) was Graham Edwards, (H/C 30+) Heath Sampson
Our thanks go to:
Mother Nature for the magnificent weather.
Matthew McCullagh (MJM Constructions) for his very generous sponsorship.
Our Greenkeeper, staff and volunteers for a course that is a pleasure to play on.
Committee and volunteers, particularly Marg Goodwin who spent the day spotting for the hole-in-one, for a day that went without a hitch.
