Seafarms' UFO Ambrose
The early morning of Sunday the 22nd of October began with rain but that didn't deter the many who decided to join in the fun of the Seafarms' Ambrose and were rewarded with a magnificent day as can be seen by these photos. By tee-off time it was sunny and lovely.
At the end of the day there were a lot of stories and gentle ribbing followed by much laughter over lunch and a few drinks!
The Prize Winners
Seafarms were very generous sponsors.Everyone won something. There were lots and lots of prawns on offer but that wasn't all. There were bags filled with goodies and a raffle that was very much in demand. If you didn't make it this year make sure you do next year!!!
Coming in first and winning 4kg of prawns each were the Chariots of the Dogs - Phil Pentecost, Paul Busst, Marina and Keith Hoare.
Second place went to the Tuggas, 3kg of prawns each!!! - Andrew Herbertson, Paul Walton, Ray Carucci, and Ian (Burt) Burchell who escaped being in the photo!!
In third place and receiving 2kg of prawns each were the Dickwits - Warren Stahel, Steve Cresswell, Lee and Doug Osmond
Going home with 1 kg of prawns each were fourth place getters the Sultans of Swing - Chris and Christine Taylor, Graham and Sandra Edwards. Graham and Sandra were also the winners of the best dressed!! You can see why!
The other six teams who competed didn't miss out either! There were bags of goodies for everyone!
