2021 CARDWELL GOLF OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Cardwell Open Golf Championships were held on the weekend of the 15th and 16th May.
The weather was magnificent as usual, the golf course is a picture and a credit to the ground-staff and volunteers. The large field that took to the course said they thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and will be back!
As usual a large number of volunteers and committee members worked to make this event the success it was.
People travelled from far and wide, from all over the local area and even Melbourne and Sydney were represented but the biggest contingent was from Lavarack in Townsville.
We are grateful to Townsville GOLFWORLD who sponsored this event as they have done for many previous years. There were great prizes won.
Cardwell Country Club was open for drinks.

This gallery is pictures of winners who were able to stay for the presentation. Many of the winners were from far away and, of course, had to travel home.
Nick Entriken (manager of Townsville Golfworld) presented the prizes with the help of Peter Topen (Club Men's Captain) and Jackie Olditch (Club Ladies' Captain).
