ANRASS AMBROSE
On 11th July, a sunny Sunday, 68 players enjoyed the ANRASS sponsored 4 person 9 hole Ambrose. The prizes were well worth winning with Ross having roped in Betta Electrics from the Tablelands, Harvey Norman Innisfail and Port-O-Call Cardwell to add to the already generous prize pool. Thank you all the sponsors, you help to keep the club viable and keep this resource in great shape for future generations.
The winners were Spicks and Specks (Ian Brooks, Mike Tanner, Ron Ash, Jim Foley), with Buggerdivano (Kevin and Kathleen Brown, Warren and Glenda Stahel) second, ANRASS (Reece Walton, Brock Threlfall, Jamie Smith, Dave Maunder) third, F.I.S.H. (Keith and Marina Hoare, Chris and Christine Taylor) fourth, The Demented (Patsy and Rob McMahon, Owen and Deb Harvey) fifth and Smithy’s Harem (Greg and Scott Smith, Denise Walton, Tracy Moore) sixth. The Men’s 0-26 HC longest drive was Paul Harry and HC 27 and over was Keith Ives. The ladies’ 0-29 HC longest drive, Christine Taylor and HC 30 and over Allison Chellingworth. Congratulations to Christine Taylor who had an Eagle on hole 11 – her two shots had her in the hole on this tricky par four!!!
