Sunday 19th March saw 60 players take to the field for the Whitevision 9 hole 4 person Ambrose. The sun shone, the course was in great condition, there was laughter, banter, a little sledging but all in all a wonderful day! There was a range of great prizes, a raffle and a lucky door draw.
Adrian White from Whitevision presented prizes to the winners. In first place were ‘Beachcombers’ (26.44), Helen and Roly Ansems, Eve Dodds and John Evans. Second place went to ‘T.U.G.A.S.’ (26.81), Andrew Herbertson, Paul Walton, Mick Hall and Mick Cotter. Third place were ‘Rednecks’ (27.81), Ian Burchell, Tracey Hennessy, and Lou and Eileen Virt. Fourth place went to ‘Whatever’ (27.94), Ron Ash, Ian Ingram and Sue and Mike Tanner. The N.A.G.A. went to 'Spicks and Specks' (35.37) Warren Stahel, Andrew Coope, Fraser Scott and Ian McCallum.
The men’s long drives went to Clint Isaac (apologies to Clint, the photographer somehow didn't get the photo!!) for handicaps 26 or below and Dave Lee for handicaps 27 or greater. The ladies’ long drives went to Christine Taylor for handicaps 30 or less and Eve Dodds for handicaps 31 or more.
Thank you to Adrian White from Whitevision for the sponsorship of this event.
